For people suffering back pain this award-winning Australian designed portable wireless remote controlled device claims to offer drug-free pain relief.

The WiTouch utilises TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) technology to supress the transmission of nerve pain and reduce pain sensitivity.   The lightweight, flexible pad can be worn discreetly underneath clothing and is attached to the lower back using replaceable adhesive gel pads.

The unit is activated using a small handheld remote and treatment intensity can be increased or decreased as required and delivers over 150, 30-minute treatment sessions before batteries need replacing. It is not suitable for people with implantable medical devices such as a pacemaker or defibrillator.

The device recently picked up RedDot and Australian International Design Awards.
