The National Disability Leadership Organisation (NDLO) is running the three gala dinners in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to raise funds for Paralympics Australia, along with launching a donation and auction site to support the fundraising efforts.
The dinners also mark the Disability Staff Recognition Awards that will be presented in eight award categories including Leadership, Sector Innovation, Front Line Manager, Team Award, Support Worker of the Year, Golden Juggler – Above and Beyond, Best Expo Display and Contemporary Practice.
Queensland Disability Service provider, Holistic Horizons is the major naming sponsor for the Brisbane Gala being held on March 3 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Gala dinners will be held on April 21 at the Crown Palladium, Melbourne and on June 16 at Doltone House, Sydney, coinciding with Disability Connection Expos being held in the three cities.
