An upcoming forum on disability employment aims to provide businesses with practical strategies and insights into creating more inclusive workplaces.
The Disability Employment, Inclusion and Leadership Summit, to be held in Sydney from 3-5 September, features a line up of speakers drawn from across the Australian disability sector, including former Disability Discrimination Commissioner Graeme Innes AM, AFDO CEO Ross Joyce, LGBTQIA+ speaker Jax Brown, advocate and author Yenn Purkis, and more.
Sessions will cover legislative reform, building inclusive workplace cultures, measuring the impact of disability inclusion initiatives, and leveraging technology for digital accessibility. Attendees are encouraged to share experiences and best practice.
The forum is run in partnership with Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO).
