APEX Mobility is acquiring Medix21 Australia in what the company is calling a significant step forward in enhancing dealer support, logistics, and inventory management.
Under this initiative, known as the “Stronger Together” project, dealers can expect improved DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) supply, streamlined customer service, and daily shipments Australia-wide. Medix21 dealers in New Zealand will continue receiving dedicated support to ensure seamless operations.
APEX said the acquisition, backed by assistive technology manufacturer Rifton (USA), demonstrates APEX Mobility’s commitment to supporting the ongoing growth of Medix21 in New Zealand.
APEX Mobility national sales manager, Michael Gage, said the company is committed to its dealers.
“We are here to support your business and your staff in any way we can, so you can provide life-changing equipment to your clients. We look forward to seeing you at the annual dealer conference in May 2025 or at another one of our training events,” he said.
Medix21 general manager, Aaron Morgan, said the partnership has many benefits.
“This new initiative will enable even stronger support for Rifton dealers across Australia and New Zealand, including pricing clarity and reduced lead times for supply,” he said.
To ensure a seamless transition, Medix21’s current contact details will be redirected to APEX Mobility. Any Medix21-only dealers will be contacted by APEX Mobility regarding establishing a direct Trade Account.
