Accessible Arts and Bundanon Trust Artist-In-Residence program will be going ahead this year. Applications are now open for artists with disability in NSW and the ACT to undertake a six-night residency at the renowned Bundanon Trust estate from October 12 – 18, 2020.

Up to five artists will be selected and successful applicants will get accommodation and studio space + per diems. Applications close on August 17.

There are also new online workshop – Delivering Accessible Online Events, designed to help arts and cultural organisations improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of their online performances, exhibitions, rehearsals and creative developments as well their webinars, online panel discussions, online meetings and social media. The stand-alone session is 1.5 hours and recurs on the first Wednesday of every month starting from September. Following its postponement a few months ago, Accessible Arts is running its first In-Conversation event for 2020. Join Bridie McKim and Roz Hammond, stars of inclusive ABC TV drama The Heights, as they discuss the ups and downs of performance, representation and disability during this FREE online Q&A event on Thursday August 27 from 6pm – 7pm. In-Conversation program profiles arts practitioners with disability. This event will have live closed captioning and Auslan interpretation.
