Writers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, actors, directors and/or producers with disability or who are d/Deaf from NSW are invited to apply for Accessible Arts 2023 Next Level Creative Mentorship Program.
Six artists will receive mentorships within a leading performing arts organisation as well as $3,000 in project funding to develop an innovative new project.
Mentorships will take place within one of the partnering organisations, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Dance Company, Merrigong Theatre Company, Musica Viva, Northern Rivers Performing Arts and Penrith Performing and Visual Arts.
The successful applicants will receive up to 20 hours of one-to-one support to develop a concept brief and facilitate networking opportunities and pitch meetings. Applications close March 13.
Also due to high demand is an online session on artists right. An arts law solicitor will discuss how to protect your work, where to get help if needed and what happens when you create art with other artists. The session is relevant to artists across all artforms.
This free event will be captioned and Auslan interpreted. Registration is essential.
It will be held on March 14 from 10am-11am Book Now
