The ATSA Independent Living Expo is going to Adelaide for the first time from March 6-7. Visitors will experience a showcase of assistive technology and comprehensive solutions, explore products and services for every daily living need, all under one roof.
Expo and education sessions are free to attend. A three-track education program will cover the following topics: the latest technology in eye gaze; consumer assistive technologies; AI: benefit or curse? increasing independence of young people with spasticity; optimising wheelchair set ups; improving AT outcomes; pressure care; safe travel options and the benefits of wheelchair sport.

Visitors can also take in the new Sports Zone and join SANFL, Table Tennis SA, Tennis SA, Wheelchair Basketball SA and Wheelchair Rugby SA for a mix of demo and ‘have a go’ sessions. Speak with representatives from the sporting groups to learn more about the options these sports can offer you or your clients.
On the first day, March 6, watch Wayne McNarama as he leads a wheelchair conga line in an attempt to break the current world record. This event will take place in seminar room 1, starting at 3.45pm.
