Due to Covid-19 Brain Injury Australia (BIA) has announced new dates for its 8th National Conference. It will be held from July 20-22 at the University of Sydney. There is also an extended call for papers to February 26, for people with a brain injury and their families, researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, service providers and policymaker, to submit a presentation proposal.
For the first time the conference will include pre-conference workshops and concurrent sessions.
BIA recently announced it has joined with Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, signing a Memorandum of Understanding committed to “working co-operatively to support the lives of people living with a spinal cord injury or brain injury”.
To celebrate the new partnership, eligible subscribers to the BIA newsletter will be offered a free two-hour assessment at national gym NeuroMoves valued at $330. The gym offers evidence-based exercise and therapy services to help improve mobility, function and independence.
