Australia’s leading arts and disability forum, the Arts Activated 2019 Conference in Sydney, is a ‘must visit’ event that is shaping up to be an engaging and entertaining two days of sharing ideas, learning new skills and making connections.

The program is now finalised and includes over 20 thought-provoking plenaries, sessions, workshops and events. Over 70 speakers and presenters will take part in the event, (70% with a lived experience of disability) including keynote speakers, leading UK artist Rachel Gadsden and the Smithsonian’s director of accessibility Beth Ziebarth.

There will also be film screenings, live music, an on-site art project and a fun networking reception plus lots of free goodies to collect from exhibitors including a bag of Eckersley’s art supplies for every delegate.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Making It Happen Today’ and the focus is on fast tracking improvements to accessibility across the arts, cultural and event sectors.

There are only a few places left, so to get involved in arts, culture, disability or inclusion don’t miss the chance to get activated! BOOK NOW! www.artsactivated2019.com

The event will be held at Waterview, Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park, on August 22-23.
