International Day of People with Disability
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations observed day held on December 3 each year.
It celebrates the achievements of people with disability, intended to increase awareness and acceptance in the community of people with disability.
In Australia, IDPwD is a joint effort between government, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals.
