Occupational Therapy Conference & Exhibition – Sydney

The theme for the 2019 event is ‘Together towards Tomorrow’ designed to reflect the dynamic nature of contemporary occupational therapy (OT) practice.  Over 1000 delegates are expected to attend.

The keynote speakers include ABC author and journalist, Leigh Sales; Dr Alison Gerlach, assistant professor at the School of Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria, Canada; Dr Natasha Lannin, associate professor in OT at Alfred Health and La Trobe University and Professor Gail Whitford, NSW Conjoint Chair of Allied Health & Community Wellbeing.

Among the topics for discussion are Rehabilitation for Older People, Sensory Approaches and Eating Disorders, New Approaches to OT Education and Consumer Experiences and Transitions Following Brain Injury.
