The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is holding free online information sessions for current and prospective NDIS participants, families and carers from June 25-27.
‘An Overview of the Participant Journey – Making connections and applying to the NDIS’ is recommended for people with disability aged 9 to 64 applying to the NDIS or wanting to explore supports in their local community.
The sessions will cover:
- How the NDIS supports people with disability
- Role of the Local Area Coordinator (LAC)
- Community connections
- Community connections plans
- How community connections work
It will be held at:
7pm – 8pm AEST
6.30pm – 7.30pm (SA, NT)
5pm – 6pm (WA)
There is also a face-to-face option for those living in the ACT.
