Cricket Legends Lunch heads to the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 31. This annual event, now in its 18th year will have a stellar line-up of former tester cricketers attending including Mike Whitney, Greg Matthews and Geoff Lawson with commentator Mike Coward acting as MC on the day.
All proceeds from the event go to the Northcott Recreation service which gives children and adults with disability the chance to take part in sporting and social activities.
The lunch has raised more than $900,000 over the past five years and according to Northcott CEO, Kerry Stubbs, the goal is to break the $1 million mark in 2014. “Our recreation services helps get people with disabilities involved in the community and bridges the gap between disability and the rest of the community,” she said.
