Expressions of interest are now open for the 2024 MyPathway to Day Options for school leavers transitioning from school to a young adult environment.

The program is delivered by South Australian intellectual disability provider Minda, to help 16-18 years build greater life skills by providing them with a range of learning opportunities in two, 10-week activity cycles.

Sessions start with a physical activity such as yoga, stretching or musical movement. This is followed by a skills-based workshop each week, based on a different theme that includes seasonal gardening, cooking, creative arts or music, with key learning areas such as teamwork, sensory and emotional development.

The program commences on Saturday May 4 and continues every Saturday, from 1pm-4pm, until Saturday December 14 at the Minda Brighton precinct. Participants can also join half-way through the program.

Costs are in line with clients’ NDIS funding.
