Finalists for the National Disability Awards 2013 have been announced. The awards, which will be held at the Great Hall, Parliament House, Canberra on November 26, recognise the achievements of individuals, teams and organisations that have improved the lives of people with a disability.
Some of the finalists that have been selected this year include the first fully accessible theatre performance for deaf, blind, sighted and hearing audiences, an apprenticeship employment program and an iPad/iPhone application that personalises care needs for those with a disability.
