Joondalup not-for-profit, Community Vision, has received two Triobikes, an election commitment from the WA State Government. Built for comfort, accessibility and safety with two 2-point seat belts, the bikes allow support workers to easily take two customers at a time for rides around the suburbs.
Community Vision provides a range of services to people of all ages and abilities through Home Care and Disability Care. Chief operating officer Yvonne Timson said: “For some of our customers the chance to ride a bike again is a wonderful experience, both for them and our support workers and is a brilliant gift to kick start the new year.”
The bikes were presented to the organisation by Joondalup MP Emily Hamilton. “I am proud to have delivered funding that will allow people to enjoy a biking experience out in the fresh air, with the added benefit of social interaction,” she said.
