Australian disability and support services organisation, Able Digital Wellness has launched a new online boxing program to help those living with autism, including 12-year-old Connor Williams from the Gold Coast.
Former world champion boxer Paul Briggs, who used boxing as a form of therapy to re-wire his brain after a brain injury, is working with Connor and others living with autism.
The 12-week program is designed to benefit people of all ages with autism, ADHD, acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions to help improve balance, concentration, confidence, overall fitness and strength and coordination.
Diagnosed with autism, ADHD and low muscle tone in 2015, Connor has worked with Paul Briggs for two years, resulting in a huge increase in his health and confidence, as well as his balance, breathing and concentration.
Able Digital Wellness is giving away free subscriptions to the program throughout April, helping those with a disability and their carers with expert exercise videos, recipes, diet advice and mental wellness tools.
The program can be funded through and NDIS plan.
F2L readers can receive an extended complimentary offer for the new 12-week boxing program.
