The Optima Carbon Thoracic Back Support was designed by NXT Seating for optimal pelvic positioning while providing proper support to the user’s thoracic region. The Optima Carbon Back Support is manufactured from T700 high-modulus carbon fibre, the lightest and most rigid carbon fibre available.
This one-piece ultra-light carbon fibre shell has a sleek design with practical features including higher lateral contours for better support in the thoracic region; pelvic positioning cut out for a more natural seated position and adjustable hardware with a one-hand quick release mechanism that allows the back support to be easily removed from the chair.
Superb comfort and durability can be found with a three-layer dual density pressure reducing foam cushion which helps reduce surface temperature, drawing heat away from the skin providing superior comfort and softness.
The antimicrobial 4-way stretch cover has moisture-wicking properties and is 20 times more air permeable than standard fabrics. Accessories and options include head supports, laterals, replacement cover and foam and Standard or Deep seat back profiles.
